BALE WRAP

Silawrap is the original professional bale wrap with a proven history. Developed in Australia more than 15 years ago by Integrated Packaging, unique combinations of raw materials are used in the production of Silawrap to provide strength, protection, and reliability that sets it apart from the others. It has been field tested in all types of extreme climatic weather conditions – worldwide. Silawrap incorporates a high level of UV stabilizers to protect against film degradation, ensuring a better quality of silage. Its multi-layer construction ensures a very high puncture resistance proven on every type of round or square bale.

 Enduro
The secret of Enduro is in the formulation of the film. This has been developed by IP’s Research & Development team over the past 4 years. It has enabled a thinner film to be produced that still retains the strength and UV protection required for bale wrapping. Enduro is pre-stretched under strictly controlled conditions during manufacturing. The excellent tack characteristics of the film bind the layers together giving a superb seal, keeping air out and nutrients in. With up to 50% more bales per roll this means fewer roll changes and reduced downtime for the busy farmer. Enduro can be used on a wide range of bale wrappers – mounted, trailed, and in-line, where the pre-stretch unit has been correctly modified. This is normally a quick and simple operation.

SILAGE BAGS
AT Plastics
   Silage bags are an economical alternative to other silage storage systems, such as pits and silos when related harvest and storage losses are considered. Silage bags allow you to store your silage anywhere you need it. In most cases a well graded and drained ground surface is all that is necessary. Silage bags are white on outside to reflect heat and black on inside to prevent light transmission. Hard to puncture, break, stretch, or tear, bags have an 24 months warranty from manufacturers defects – best on the market.

Lastic Tube
  Lastic-Tube is designed to provide the fastest, most economical, convenient, and reliable way to produce baled silage. The Lastic-Tube system is developed around AT Plastics exclusive “stretch tube with a memory” design. This specially formulated polyethylene film automatically shrinks down tight against the bale, eliminating oxygen and creating an ideal environment for fermentation. Handles 4’ and 5’ round bales as well as some medium and large square bales. Tubes are white on outside to reflect heat, black on inside to prevent light transmission. High tear and puncture resistance, with UV stabilized to withstand 12 months exposure under normal conditions of use.

 Bale Tubes
Bale Tubes are tri-extruded tubes with two layers of white film on the outside to reflect heat and one layer of black film on the inside to provide up to 100% opacity. The bale tube is manufactured using the same technology as the Silage Bag and creates an oxygen deprived environment ideal for the fermentation of baled forages. Offered with a 12 month warranty against manufacturer’s defects. Canadian Made. Available in 4 ft x 100ft (5 mil) or 5 ft x 200ft (6 mil).

  SILAGE COVERS / PIT COVERS
Silage Covers, better known as a pit covers, is a one piece cover that does not require any sealing or taping. All AT Plastics silage covers are offered in a tri-extruded film with two layers of white film on the outside to reflect heat and one layer of black film on the inside to provide up to 100% opacity. The white exterior reflects heat and light and the high opacity offers a 12 month UV stabilization. All AT Plastics silage covers are covered for one year warranty against manufacturer’s defects.

NET WRAP
Plastic mesh Bale Wrap is quickly becoming an attractive alternative to twine in the wrapping of round hay bales. This soft white netting reduces wrap time, by only requiring 11/2 to 2 revolutions to wrap, means more bales per hour, less wear and tear on equipment then traditional twine wrapping. Without twine to collect rain, water penetration and spoilage is reduced by up to 50%. This reduction in spoil will more than pay for the cost of the netting! The smooth netting improves leaf retention and can be used in conjunction with stretch film. When ready to feed, film and netting are removed together as one, with no fear of lost ends. Made in Canada.
